Twilight Princess Concept Art: Midna's design sketches 2/2

my least fav thing abt the hyrule historia is they dont list the names of the artists/character designers? i always wondered if the twilight princess designs were just a result of the ocarina of time/majoras artist working digitally

Hakusan Park – The Stone Lantern

Behind the twisted tree, a stone path leads into the water. Fishes are swimming around the lantern. After this last sketch, we wander in some old fashioned streets and enter a bookstore to stare at cool Art books. When we exit, the night is falling so we head to the station where a green train bring us back to our blue house.

Hakusan Park – The Entrance Torii

After a short lunch break (onigiri and pasta salada) from the combini, we sketch near the pond. The red torii reflects in the water and children are busy with nets.

Hakusan Park – The Old Tea House, part 2

The Tea House in the park is an old building made of wood. In winter, when you seat inside and watch the snow falling outside, the world looks magically quiet.

Yahiko - the sacred tree, part two

Yahiko is a place we’re familiar with. We often go there, climb the mountain and enjoy the panorama. You can see the entire prefecture from the top of Yahiko Mountain!

A few years ago, we even shot a short film there: 3 Old Gods.

Today, we stop in front of a sacred tree. The wooden torii, burnt by the sun, looks as if it was taken from a Miyazaki’s film. After finishing the sketch, we eat delicious Tempura Udon (served cold) at our favourite stall and go for a walk in the forest.

But we haven’t crossed the path of any old god this time…
